Notice these fish aggressively eating and they are healthy and in full color. Each day they are fed Xtreme foods, from fry until they leave the farm. Breeders are fed the same Xtreme formulas and they thrive. The size, shape and combination of ingredients vary from formula to formula. A combination of 1.5 mm, 3mm and 10mm pellets are used to feed 500,000 fish healthy year in and year out, in all weather conditions.

Introducing - Cat Scrapers and Catfish PeeWee
Just in time for the All-Aquarium Catfish Convention 2010, Xtreme Aquatics is proud to introduce two brand new formulas, Cat Scrapers, a 10mm fast sinking wafer that encourages the natural eating habits of Plecos and other catfish. This formula uses Green Peas as the primary protein ingredient to appeal to these herbivorous catfish.
For your Synodontis and other cats, try Catfish PeeWee, a 1.5mm pellet with a balanced diet that is aggressively eaten by these picky eaters.
Want to see these professional formulas in action, see our new introduction video on YouTube.

Hormone Free
Using hormones in tropical fish foods is illegal. That should be enough, but a little discussion might be helpful. You will not find hormones in any commercial foods sold in the USA, it is illegal. Using hormones will unnaturally color fish with their male colors, even females and juveniles.
There are some folks in the far east that are using hormones to get full coloration in juveniles. This might appeal to the uninformed beginner, but once they learn the ropes, they too will most likely shy away from artificially manufactured fish. Once an artificial fish is taken off the hormone, the faux colors will fade away.

Feeding the Uruguay Gymnogeophagus.
This fish was raised on the 1.5 mm Xtreme and is a breeder male. The head hump is indicative of a dominant male in the breeding colony. This species is a mouth brooder, the females are not very large. The babies are very small and will take brine shrimp when spit out or stripped from the female. These fish are very peaceful and also do not require higher temps. Share your experiences with this group of the newer uruguay fish.

Feeding Tropical Fish
We want to share our experiences in developing Xtreme Aquatic Foods. Spanning 40 years beginning in 1970 from our college apartment in Tallahassee to our fish farm in south Florida, we feed a half million fish daily and we feed them exclusively with Xtreme Aquatic Foods. Over the next few months, we will tell our story, give you the facts you need to make a decision and then ask you to go to your local retail store and ask them to give us a try. Once you try Xtreme you will be convinced it is every bit as good as described, and then some. Visit our commercial website: http://www.xtremegreen.com/
